So a couple weeks ago I was contacted by a man named Kenny, he is the brother of a local, missing man named Joshua Wright. I had posted a couple articles about some unidentified skeletal remains that were found in the South Fairmount area of Cincinnati and Kenny had seen the posts. He contacted me to let me know it was his family who had found the remains, while searching for his missing brother Josh.
Kenny told me Josh has been missing for over a year and although the family has done everything by the book, they have received little assistance from local law enforcement.
Throughout our communications I have come to realize this family has left no stone unturned, literally. I mean, they’ve gone as far as recovering somebody else’s skeletal remains! Those remains were later identified through the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office as belonging to 67 year old Gary Boyd. Sadly, Mr. Boyd’s case is another one that’s loaded with unanswered questions, but that’s another story for another day.
Today I want to do what I can to get the word out about Joshua Lee Wright, a loving son, brother and father of three. The media coverage over the past 13 months has been scant at best with the majority of it tethered to the Gary Boyd story.
It is my hope that we can breathe new life into this mystery.

The truck that Josh was driving is recovered outside a vacant house where the front door appeared to have been kicked in. It was backed into a small driveway and super close to the house, obscuring the vehicle due to traffic patterns that had changed because of a detour. Kenny said he was certain the vehicle was parked by Josh. The truck had 2 bullet holes in the side that appeared to have been fired at the vehicle.
