CYNTHIANA, KENTUCKY AND BIRTH OF THE WALKING DEAD

It’s a wrap. The 193rd issue of ‘The Walking Dead’ comic book was published last week. Both the comic and the TV series have brought quite a bit of attention to the small town of Cynthiana, Kentucky. You see, Cynthiana (which is just an hour south of Cincinnati) is home to both the creator of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman and it’s visionary comic book artist Tony Moore. If you’re in the area be sure to drop by the Rohs Opera House off the main drag and see the iconic Walking Dead mural that adorns the side of the building. While I can’t promise a zombie sighting, I can certainly assure you that a drive through Cynthiana embodies everything we’ve come to love about “The Walking Dead.”
